pyrosgfSo I'm still currently on vacay, but I wanna write down some of my experiences before I fly home Wednesday.
I flew in on June 29th. First couple of day were spent in a lull of shock over the heat. Couldn't manage to eat much the first couple of days. It's been a really interesting experience so far.
July 1, I got to meet one of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
scorpio_15 's friends. He's a sweet guys. We watched movies until Scorp crashed and went to bed. We finally finished the last movie at like 4am and then he and I talked until like 5:30. Heh there may've been some kissing here and there, but honestly it was just cool to meet someone who kinda looks at life the way I do. I also got an awesome foot/leg massage out of the deal.
July 2, Scorp and I went into town and checked out some vintage shops where we found an atrocious tie.
I also managed to find a really cool dragonfly for my mom. She's taken a recent fascination with them.
While checking out the shops I was also very intrigued by all the paintings on the streets. Took a lot of pictures of murals and such. Very cool. Totally a fucking hot day though. I've turned into a water fiend and I never drink water at home.
That evening we came back to her house and went skinny dipping. I can't swim, but something about being naked in a pool is just satisfying.
Somewhere in all of this crazy Scorp managed to get me addicted to Nutella, which holy shit I'm totally in love with. We also got together with another one of her friends to watch True Blood season three. Totally amazing. Loooooove Lafayette so much.
July 3, Scorp and I went to the mall. Had a great time walking around and ended up in a Sephora. I've been in one at home once, but the one here had a Kat Von D display which made my day.
After that we made our way to a pet shop in the mall where we got to play with an adorable puppy. Afterward we went to a lil mexican place and she introduced me to horchata which I now affectionately refer to as mouth crack.
That night Scorp's guy friend came over again and he and Scorp watched Sucker Punch while I fell out. After the movie Scorp went to bed and her friend and I talked until like 4am. Little kissing, and we called it a night.
July 4th, Scorp and I went on a road trip and ended up in the middle of nowhere. I was totally doped up on Dramamine and spent most of the ride home pretty groggy, but I got some cool pics. It started raining on our ride home and I got this pic. Thought it was interesting.
It finally cleared up that night and we were able to catch some fireworks. Yes cheesy me actually videoed the fireworks.
The rest of the week was kinda a blur. I know there was more skinny dipping, an incident with mosquitoes that lead to me being stoned on Benadryl. I've also been working on the mpreg I got stuck on a couple months ago. I think it's going to be my Lambliff Big Bang. It's already over 10k.
July 8, We went out that evening again to the little Mexican place. This time we actually had dinner. Their chicken quesadillas were awesome and I had more mouth crack.
July 9, we departed on a long trip to Phoenix. We arrived at The Rock to see Raja perform. I met @Atomicatt, @SusanGlamMom, @1RockinRebel, and @technicolornina. I'm sure there were others but I stayed mostly with my own table. I was very nervous being in the crowds of people so I'm glad our table was near the back. Once the show started I went back and forth between my seat and dancing around with Scorp. All of the performers were amazing. Raja was totally fierce. Got to meet her before the show. Omg totally more beautiful in person and so nice... oh and did I mention she's a glamazon? Jeez after seeing all those hot girls with dicks I wanted to hand in my girl card.
Anyway, Raja actually did me a service by asking how many lesbians were in the crowd. Turns out the girl next to me was. Heh that info would come in handy later. Here's some pics. Scorp took them. I took the video, which will come after the pics.
After the show I ended up in the parking lot with a girl. I'm not sure how said girl feels about me writing about this so I shall leave her nameless and say that making out with a girl in the parking lot of a gay club was awesome.
Then Scorp and I went to Dennys and had a late dinner then started the long trip home. Omg we blasted Adam all the way home. Lots of singing to the tops of our lungs to keep us awake.
July 10th, we spent the whole day in our PJs and watched the rest of True Blood season three and then watched True Blood season four episode one and two. Then got distracted reliving Adam's Idol journey. Then we watched last night's True Blood episode. Looooove.
July 11th, today we went out on the town and explored. Found a lot of cool art and churches. Had a wonderful time. We got home and ordered pizza for dinner. Now I'm on the couch listening to a movie and writing this. I wanted to get it all down before I went home. Before I forget. Tomorrow's my last night and then I fly home Wednesday noonish.
My last pic of the day was because it reminded me of Tommy. Lil Frankenstein in the bottom corner.
If you've made it through this whole thing congrats. I hope you guys know what an amazing person Scorp is. She's given me so much and some of it I'm not sure even she really knows. This is definitely a trip I'll remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Scorp for taking me into your home like family, you're truly my sister and I love you. I hope someday you can make it to my neck of the woods.
