Bubbly

Past couple of weeks have been amazingly weird. I dunno a mix of up and down. One of Peter's friends dropped in like he does about this time every year and stayed with us. This year tho Peter is in Arizona so he spent most of his time not at work with me. Honest to everything he is the nicest guy and I spent a lot of time talking to him. Several nights we were up until ass o'clock in the morning just talking about life. I love that. I love having someone to debate with and someone who makes me think. Makes me wish I was attracted to him.

While he was here though I ended up having a dream about my ex-husband's father. I know whenever I call him I always end up regretting it, but whenever I get someone on my mind I just have to check. I no longer have his dad's number so I called him. He said he hadn't been able to reach his dad in like 3 months. That was fine. I wish the convo would've ended there, but it didn't. He proceeded to push several buttons and by the end of the phone call I was marching for the alcohol. Totally not like me.

Also on the 8th I had to go to viewing for my grandma's sister.

It's been a bizarre couple of weeks, but the past couple of days I've been in an amazing bubbly mood. Laughing a lot and thinking about her. Not that it's doing me a lot of good, but I dunno I'm oddly content.

Not to mention in a couple of months I'm going to get to visit one of my fave fandom girls. Totally excited to go somewhere I've never been. First time I'll have been to a state that didn't border the Atlantic... and even then I've only ever been to SC three times and VA once. Yet I have a passport and spent six weeks in England. Go figure. I really need to see some more of the US and I have a feeling that my fandom girl and I will be painting her town red. Or maybe glitter.

Also I have a Charity:Water drive fic I'll be posting as soon as my dear scorpio_15 has time to do the beta. Should be pretty amusing tho. Also working on another mpreg atm. Except it's Adam that's knocked up. =O Haven't touched it in a couple weeks tho. Just kinda unmotivated without a deadline.

Bubbly is good! Travel is good too. Even when it's tiring it opens up your mind in hard-to-explain ways. Being out-of-town this last weekend actually made me happier about where I live, which is a good thing.

It's funny because that usually happens for me too. Being at the beach reminds me how much I hate flat land... and I have a feeling my trip west is going to make me thankful I don't live where it's extremely hot. Either way new experiences are healthy for the mind.
